Make a Difference

I did not have any expectation coming into Bhutan. But I was blown away by the country and by the people. Chris was very kind to prepare us with his pre-trip document.

What makes our visit more memorable was how our guide Kinley and Namgay showed hospitality, from the airport, planning our food, and accommodations, you feel very welcomed, we were treated to the best of everything. The hotel choices were amazing and cannot say more. They are not just tour guides, they became our friends on this trip.

Going to Tigers Nest was one of the highlights in Bhutan. Its a 2hr trekking and it can be intimidating. I am just thankful of how Kinley was so supportive all throughout the trip. He was always there when you need some extra help. I can definitely say that the Bhutan trip was majestic, and the trip was extra special because of Kinley and Namgay were with us. It just like touring with friends. Thank you MAD Bhutan for giving us such wonderful memories.

When we started dreaming about a travel to the Land of Happiness, we contacted several tour operators in Bhutan. MAD made immediately the difference with their amazing presentation and the care they had in answering to all our questions. The pre-trip process was thorough, with an opportunity for us to make various requests and ask questions. We were also provided with a pre-trip document to prepare things like what to pack etc. Chris was incredibly patient with our thousands of questions too.

The trip itself was smooth going, with a very accomodating and thoughtful guide and an amusing driver. The agency also provided hiking poles, which were very useful in the (to me strenuous!) trek to the Tiger's Nest. Thank you for the good time!

My wife, my 10-year-old son and myself joined MAD for a 7 days tour to Bhutan. The entire trip was marvellous, interesting, fun, educational and very memorable one.

Our local guide, Sonam, a very cheerful, responsible, knowledgeable and well articulate young man. We talk, we joke and our laughter all round. He is able to relate things to Singapore that always made us feel at home.

When comes to food, it was our initial concern that food there may not suit us and by brining over instant noodle was the immediate option at that time. To our delight, meals provided were good and our instant noodles were all untouched. Accommodations are fine, place was clean and within our expectations.

Besides visiting temples, monasteries and major tourist attractions per the itinerary. We had the opportunity to visit local school and also to interact with the students. This gave us a different perspective and experience all together. Overall it is a very special, meaningful and extraordinary trip unlike any other vacations we had. To the point that my son had to leave Bhutan reluctantly with tears. We plan to revisit Bhutan some day to explore more of Bhutan and do a school's visit once again.

Joined a family trip with MAD has opened our (and their) mind. I am impressed on how Namgay (our guide) and Samgay (our driver) encouraged us to feel the most authentic Bhutanese experience, while still ensuring our comfort. P.S.: They are also good with kids! :D

My friends and I joined MAD for our maiden trip to Bhutan. We were very impressed with the services from the tour agency from the first contact we had in Singapore till the end of the trip in Bhutan. We had the flexibility to customise our itinerary. Our guide Sonam and our driver Choki made the trip even more enjoyable with their hospitality and humour. Also, we thought we had paid for three-star accommodation, but the stay seemed more like four to five stars. We will recommend MAD without hesitation.

….With its incredible view, unique culture, interesting Buddhist teaching and friendly people, Bhutan is one destination that worth to be included in your bucket list.
